KITAGAWA Q1R 12 series three jaw wedge style power chucks are made out of high grade alloy steel, are therefore durable and robust, offering a faster operation, gripping force and bore size, when compared to conventional chucks. Large bore chuck matches the KITAGAWA metric top jaws. Also, an optional base jaw offers compatibility with cross tenon top jaws. Mounting dimensions are the same as for BB212 and B212, meaning that no special connectors or cylinder are needed. These chucks feature a 106 mm through-hole, maximum griping range of 315 mm (xx min), 10.6 mm jaw stroke, 23 mm plunger stroke, maximum input force of 81 kN for 8,259 kgf, maximum gripping force of 180 kN for 18,354 kgf, 60 kN dynamic grip force at max speed up to 3,500 RPM, weight of 64 kg (with soft jaws), SS2110K cylinder, and SB12N1, KSJ212, HB12N1 standard metric top jaws.
