BEM12 is a machining unit manufactured by Suhner. The device is equipped with a 3-phase electric motor, used for single-purpose applications. It has an integrated pneumatic field and hydraulic brake-cylinder assembly for quick feed control. It also exhibits a precision collet toolholder system and accurate angular contact spindle bearings.
The apparatus comes in a slim design, with high performance-to-size ratios. It also features modifiable spindle speed combinations, with replaceable pulleys. The unit may be availed in BEM 12 ST and BEM 12 E-ST versions, complete with automotive type spindle.
