Suhner has developed BEM 12 VC which is as flexible as a CNC unit and features integrated pneumatic feed controlled by an electro-rheological brake-cylinder for fast and working stroke combinations without any mechanical adjustments. It consists of 6 preset cycles to choose from individual programming and provides flexible and fast process changeover for small and medium sized production lots. The construction showcases slim design and high performance to size ratio along with a rigid cast-iron housing, precision collet tool holder system and precision angular contact spindle bearings. Variable spindle speed combinations are possible with interchangeable push-on pulleys and positioning possibility is provided by linear potentiometer.
