Amada HD series has been named HD as it features a combination of electric servo-motors and bi-directional hydraulic pumps. It employs a start-stop mechanism that allows the pump to rotate only when the bending cycle is in progress. This results in savings in electricity consumption as well as oil volumes and also reduced maintenance needs. Thanks to this system, the advanced HD range delivers outstanding bending outcomes. An additional unique tool is the piloted deforming beam. The numerical control fully controls this beam deflection.
1003 ATC press brake with auto tool changer is an HD version and provides improved adaptability and performance. The punches and dies are accurately placed from the tool magazine by a four-axis manipulator. It has a tool capacity of up to 26.4m.
