Balconi manufactures extrusion presses having a maximum power of 6300 kN. The extrusion press is especially designed for the production of aluminium cans, tubes and products of the same type. It can accommodate processes starting from aluminium slug through the extrusion method. Process wise, the cans or tubes are made in one stroke of press, at a maximum speed of more than 200 strokes per minute.Extrusion press acts as a head of large integrated production lines, fully automated and runs over an extended span of time. This demanding job requires the extrusion press to have a high level of precision, and to ensure the maximum reliability of its performance, regardless of the difficulty of the method and the intensity of use.
