High-performance tool grinding machine / cutting insert - INSERT LINE
The Insert Line is a reliable insert periphery grinding machine that supports machining of very complex insert geometries. The six-axis FANUC robot, advanced ProGrind software and the recently developed periphery grinding process create the theoretical line between the grinding and insert wheel during the actual machining of insert cutting surfaces.The timely isolation of the grinding machine and the workpiece give it less friction and reduce the thermal stress for its contact zone. It achieves success through its grinding wheel diameter measuring about 500mm which reduces production time to 50%.
It can also support varied wheel diameters that allows it to grind concave shapes. It has optimum kinematics because of its hydrostatic guide. It comes with an improved cutting tolerance which reduces costs through its tight tolerance. It eliminates surface damage and the axes provide unique dynamics, reliability and maximum accuracy.
