Its motor is protected against overloading by an electronic current limiter. It also has a soft start feature. It has a big trigger switch accommodating two fingers, and a lock-on feature for uninterrupted operation. The soft grip handle is ergonomically-friendly and increases operator comfort. The dust bag can be installed and removed with ease resulting in improved cleanliness. It includes a detachable dust shroud cap to facilitate flush-to-wall planing.
The PC5001C has an LED power light, which functions as a pilot light and also displays anti-restart function. The carbon brushes allow access from outside, thus improving ease of servicing.
