Belt sander / for wood - HBS 400 / (402)
The HBS 400 is a solid wood sanding machine, highly versatile and very efficient as it sands from the top. Accurate calibration is possible, thanks to the fully integrated Combi-unit or the air sanding pad, for a copy-sanding. This machine is perfect for large pieces too because it allows for a sanding width of 380mm and thickness of 400mm. This model features a particularly strong design. It has very powerful motors too, with 7.5kW. There is an electronic digital display for checking the parameters. Allows for constant height of throughfeed. The shortest possible length of workpiece is 350mm. Combi-unit turns out to be highly useful because it has special HBS-sanding pad to enable the machine adapt itself to warped pieces or pieces of varying thickness. Integrated with a heavy roller unit for pre-sanding while accurate sanding ensured through CERMET sanding pad.
