The versatile LCS series has the capability to finish hardened gears. In combination with dressable or electron-plated CBN tools, the LCS "Combi" can be used in one machine for generating and profile grinding. Tooth grinding with dressable worms or discs achieves high productivity by using state-of-the-art alumina tools. The production results of the CBN procedure are consistent throughout the tool life. The operating range of up to 200 hours is advantageous for mass production. The CBN profile grinding is available for internal gears. Very small grinding discs are used depending on the technology being adopted.
