The RX-28 utilizes a metal indexable cutting tool, wherein its radius may be controlled accurately. The machine functions through the use of three brushes, as the rotary table and spindle rotates concurrently. Also, the equipment is suitable for use in edge honing, polishing, or deburring of inserts.The unit offers an automatic brush height compensation, for the brush wear. It also has a single spindle drive for each brush station. This component enables for the different settings in the spindle rotation speed, and direction.
In addition, the equipment is integrated with ball and groove precision guides, for controlling every brushing station. It consists of 28 spindles, which are placed inside the machine. Also, the unit provides different abrasive types, which are efficient for use in brushes.
