Parting tool - TANG-GRIP
ISCAR has introduced an insert with single end which is equipped with improved method of clamping and can be made used for parting. The tool can provide machining at exceptionally higher feed rate and also can provide perfect surface finish and straightness. They can be applicable for interrupted cuts and parting of large diameter. There is no upper jaw with it like the other clamping systems and so can provide with unobstructed and free chip flow. Free flow of chip along with tangential clamping can provide better life for pocket and tool. It also solves the problem of pulling out of inserts at the time of retraction. Tag inserts can be available with familiar chip forms along with cutting edges that are angular frontal and neutral. Tools also have an extraction device and also a clamping that is user friendly.
