The CoroTurn SL is a universal modular system of adaptors. It features exchangeable cutting heads enabling the building of customized tools for a range of machining applications.The exceptionally robust and well-designed Serration Lock (SL) enables a broad range of tool combinations to be created using just a few adaptors and cutting heads. Adaptors can be supplied for both internal and external machining.
The CoroTurn SL provides reliable chip breaking and evacuation as well as a long tool life. The coolant goes just where you need it by the high precision nozzles on the cutting heads. Tool wear mainly occurs in the exchangeable cutting head, therefore extending the life of the adaptor.
A quick change can be affected by the Coromant Capto, leading to high utilization rates. An efficient coolant supply is a result of the adaptors having internal coolant.
