Paul Horn These grooving tools can work in many ways such as boring, grooving, axial grooving, chamfering, profiling, backboring and threading. They are fitted with a clamping holder with a shank diameter of 16mm and can be used for internal grooving in bores with a diameter even greater than 16mm. They feature a grooving depth of up to 300mm deep with tmax of 3.5mm and a 5mm for bores with a diameter of 18mm or more.

They can be machined with a shank diameter of 20mm at an entry depth of up to 30mm. The clamping holders in a left- or right-hand design are available for the shank in g6 quality. They also feature a stable shank with an elliptical-shaped cross section along the l2 dimension which ensures and provides excellent anti-vibration characteristics for superior quality.
