Form knurling tool - ø 8-200 mm | RD1 132-20
This device is available in both convectional & CNC and can be used as a variety of machines ranging from multi-spindle automated lathes to automated short-turning lathes and universal lathes. The main application of this device is for form knurling. The knurling process can have two directions. One is suited to all knurling patterns and profiles and is called plunge knurling. The other direction called feed knurling is suited for RBL, RBR & RAA.
The knurling is done to a shoulder with a knurling wheel which is pin adjustable. The clearance angle can be adjusted with integrated set screws and a hardened surface gives increased wear resistance.
