Threading insert - TP1030

The TP1030 of Seco is recommended for steels and stainless steels it suits the other grades of Secos namely CP500, CP200 and CP300 and gives additional number of the production with quality finishes. This products keeps tight tolerances letting for deducted supervision and extending return on tooling investment. This device is provided in an S-type insert to guarantee a consistent profile edgeline. The fine grain cermet substrate attains resistance crater wear and withstands the possibility to improve a built-up edge which is being secured by the TiSiAlN nanolaminate PVD coating permitting it for unrivalled performance.

It is also rendered in the external and internal profiles and pitches like ISO 1.0-3.0 mm, UN 20-8 TPI and W 19-11 TPI.

Ceramic cutting insert - SL 654 C series

SL 654 C is a cutting material that comes with a multi-layer coating of TiCN/ TiN . It is a specialist cutting material for fresh gray cast iron castings. Machining is ideal when components are cast less than three days earlier. The tool life does not deteriorate when fresh castings are tuned on the lathe. Its wear resistance and hot hardness lead to increased cutting and higher removal rates compared to the traditional tools for machining gray cast iron. The SL 654 C cutting material has IKS-PRO notch-type clamping to ensure maximum clamping security.

Indexable cutting insert - DFR, DFT series

The Kennametal's KCPK10 is composed of TiCN-Al2O3-CVD coating which is mixed along with a cobalt-enriched carbide substrate as it provides an even combination of distortion resistance and edge strength. This product provides grinding and cater wear resistance for rapid machining of steels and cast irons. It is operated for an extreme high cutting speeds with low medium feed rates.

However, the KCU25 is an improved PVD grade that has a hard AlTiN coating and fine-grain unalloyed substrate in which the enhanced coating develops edge stability with broader range of speed and functions. It is recommended for machining steels, high-temp alloys, titanium, irons and non-ferrous materials.
