Barcode label printer-applicator / automatic - max. 90 p/min | 2138 series
The print and apply system was specially designed and developed by Aire to meet the challenge of an international copper fitting manufacturer whose requirement was to apply variably printed label to the tops of 12 sizes of fittings that covered elbows, tees, crosses, and couplings. The product measured from 1.5" (38 mm) to 3" (76 mm) in diameter. The Solution Label Model 2138 Print & Apply applicator is mounted on vertical and horizontal gib slides for precise adjustments. The products are hand loaded onto a 6" (152 mm) wide by 10' (3 m) long conveyor and then aligned in position with adjustable custom guide rails. The bar code labels are printed, applied to the products and then scanned by a Microscan bar code reader. The correctness of the bar-coded product is checked by an air-cylinder ejected onto an eject chute if a match is not verified
