The PortaDot 130-30 is a portable hand-held dot marker for marking 2D data matrix codes, logos and alphanumerical characters. It has a large marking area which makes it ideal for marking large components, raw materials, automotive VIN marking and many other industrial applications. It is able to permanently mark any engineering material that has the hardness of 62 HRc or less.This device is available in 3 options, depending on the technology it uses. The electromagnetic P130-30E model is programmable with an electric solenoid, designed for deep and consistent marking and requires no air supply. The fast pneumatic P130-30FP version is faster for continuous lines with a high frequency stylus. The high amplitude pneumatic version P130-30PHA is suitable for marking uneven surfaces.
The device has two stationary motors which provide higher acceleration, accuracy and speed and allows operation without failures caused by motor cable fatigue, due to their superior torque. The flat movement on the X and Y axis (no pivot axis) provides a constant marking depth on the entire marked area. The recirculating linear ball guideways provide the highest possible marking accuracy. It is capable of covering a large marking area of 130 mm X 30 mm.
The head cable industrial steel connector allows easy disconnection of the marking head. The aluminum casing of the machine is sturdy with a front mask of high rigidity. Also, the in-built illumination system is automatically actuated with motion sensor to increase safety. The device is V-shaped on both axes so as to makes fitting on tubes possible. Also, it offers a sliding mechanism with the positioning scale.
