Welding helmet with respirator - OPTREL e1100
The Optrel e1100 is manufactured by Teka, and is a complete system which includes a welding helmet, a PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirator) blower unit, and a lithium-ion battery pack. Delivered with the Optrel e600 dark blue welding helmet, the system also includes visible and audible alarms for dirty, missing, or incorrectly mounted filters. It also notifies the user if the filter becomes blocked or if the battery is low.Ambient air is drawn through a fine particulate filter by the blower unit. The unit uses clean air to ventilate the helmet. A flame-retardant waist belt which threads through a leather lumbar support fits the model to the user's body.
The model is designed specifically for welders. It provides protection against flying particles, UV and IR radiations, dust and metal fumes which occur during the welding and associated processes.
