Seam welding machine - LWA series
For high productivity seam welding of cylinders, using GTAW, or PAW processesThe part loading tooling can be rapidly changed to accommodate different part diameters
The automatic centering device, part hold down blade, finger banks, and part loading cylinders are sequenced thru a PLC (programmable logic control) and interfaced to the included 9500 system control.
The side beam track is fitted with hardened round ways for smooth precise travel
The carriage uses hardened bearings and a precision DC motor with tach generator feedback
Linear style drive for the carriage is standard
Various speed ranges and speed holding accuracies are available
Copper backing bars and reversible copper finger tips are standard
9500 microprocessor control is standard
Because of mechanical limitations, the design of the system is unique to part length and diameter.
