Urethane adhesive - UR2109
The 'DeathGrip' of UR2109 is the version of the Great Ape adhesive that can be purchased in larger quantities than the competitive product. The UR2109 is a single part moisture cure urethane adhesive. It is used in structural applications, the main uses being wood on wood to wood and wood to aluminum applications. In dry climates, water misting of the substrates is sometimes required. The UR2109 foams slightly upon exposure to the moisture and will fill small gaps. The product has a viscosity of about 4,000 cps. The cure is affected by reacting with ambient moisture in the air and in the substrates. Handling strength is achieved in about 30 minutes and the adhesive is dry to the touch in about 60 minutes.
