The Alpha Q 551 inverter welding machine incorporates a double wire feeding unit. It is designed to deliver multiple processes in a single, comprehensive structure. It provides both MIG and MAG welding, MMA welding, TIG lift arc welding and air arc gouging with DC power and pulse welding.The machine is extremely portable and can be lifted to location with the aid of a crane or forklift. It provides an extremely easy to use user interface. All functions and welding parameters can be set via a single, multitask knob. The wire feed unit's operating point can also be set easily. A pre-set JOBS function allows selecting the desired welding process from an exhaustive list of welding tasks.
The provision of various operating process solutions such as coldArc, pipeSolution and forceArc enable the machine to deliver a high rate of efficacy and reliability. The machine can be connected with function torch or used remotely with the aid of relevant connection abilities provided in the machine (except R40). The four-roller wire feeding unit can accommodate 1.0 mm and 1.2 mm steel wires.
The welding machine is outfitted with a potent cooling system comprising a centrifugal pump, generous 12 l tank, fan and pressure switch. The pump is temperature-regulated. Two welding jobs can be performed with one source of power. The machine also allows alternating between root and final passes welding. Solid or flux-cored wires, wires of varying thicknesses and materials can be accommodated without need to change the roller or torch.
