Double-sided adhesive tape / polyester / acrylic - 3M™ 444PC
3M™ double coated tape 444 is a 3.9 mil 300 high tack acrylic adhesive. It has a polyester carrier of .5 mil on a 3.2 mil white 55 lb DK, or densified kraft, paper liner. It provides quicker lamination due to the fast flowing adhesive with exceptional speeds of initial adhesion. It strongly bonds to a variety of challenging surfaces, such as plastics like polyethylenes.
It has excellent aging properties. It features a strong, thick 60 lb liner. This minimizes edge burr when hard tool process is used for metal plates. It provides low solvent resistance and medium temperature resistance.
