The NPM-TT series of Twin Tray Assembly Platforms from Panasonic employs the SMT process to facilitate additional tray-supplied parts that operates in the independently-run-lane mode. It can handle up to 510 x 590 mm boards, and more than one product may be processed at a time because of the dual lane option. This makes it suitable for various applications that concern high mix, low volume and low mix, high volume manufacturing. The entire range guarantees a minimized changeover periods while expanding the machine's efficiency. It utilizes the PoP to a NPM-D line, and now uses the same feeders as the whole NPM platform range.
