The Metabo 710 Watt Electronic Orbotal Jig Saw STE 140 is a robust jig saw equipped with electronics to allow fast cutting into softwood up to 140 mm. It is very easy to operate and has a slimline handle that has rubberized surfaces. The variable stroke rate, low-lying saw blade guidance with spring support and pendulum stroke enables sawing that is high precision and material matched. It has a Metabo Quick no-tool saw blade function for changing blades that also allows automatic rejection. A clear view of the cutting line is enabled by the switchable saving blower function. It is equipped with Vario-Tacho-Constamatic (VTC) full wave electronics provides optimum sawing progress due to its steady stroke rate even under load. The motor and gear design is very robust with heavy duty die cast aluminum gear housing.
