The MPG-plus from Schunk is a 2-Finger small component gripper specifically used for assembling, testing of workpieces in laboratories and in the pharmaceutical industry as it holds and moves small to medium-sized workpieces safely. Its compact design is constructed out of durable materials and utilizes a cross roller guide, and a drive concept oval piston which improves its gripping feature and minimizes friction. The unit offers reliable performance as it utilizes magnetic switches for monitoring. There are available 16 to 64 for the sizes and a gripping force ranging from 25 up to 350 N. The strokes of its finger ranges from 1.5 up to 10 mm, and is capable of gripping a maximum weight of .13 up to 1.25 kg.
