This PWG-plus gripper is a compact and robust powerhouse due to the oval piston drive,wear-resistant dog bone drive and one-piece, robust aluminum housing. It can either be equipped with or without mechanical gripping force maintenance depending on the application. Inductive sensors and solenoid switches are also available, as well as a wide range of other accessories.The PWG-plus has a connecting pattern on both the finger and bottom side which is identical to that of the PGN-plus universal gripper. This allows direct combination with attachment valves, quick-change jaw systems and compensation units.
The PWG-plus benefits from having variable top jaws, front face connecting threads and centering possibilities for creating workpiece support. The oval pistons provide high power density and maximum transfer of force is attributable to the dog bone drive.
