Manual screen changer - CSC
The CSC screen changer is suited for applications where processes shut down periodically, and hence there is no lost production due to the screen change. Operator effort to change screen pack is reduced by the 2.5:1 gear reduction ratchet action. They offer economical, efficient way for processor to filter contaminates from polymer melt flows and can filter almost any thermoplastic material. They are leak free under extrusion pressures due to proven pressure activated seal technology, yet with the gear reduction ratchet action are easily shifted when the pressure is removed. Maintenance and screw removal is much easier as CSC is fitted directly to the extruder barrel flange.
