Discontinuous screen changer / hydraulic / slide plate - CA
These CA screen changers designed with a single or double plate complete the Filtec product range. This unit filters the molten product onto the pelletizing lines, as well as for the processing of blown films, casts and flat heads. The device comes in various versions, based on the product to filter, with electric or diathermic oil heating. The material is pushed from the extruder to the gear pump, and flows to an inner channel crossed by plate with a suitable filtering capacity. The plate is activated through a cylinder, operated by a hydraulic control system. A particular probe determines the added pressure brought by clogging of the filtering net and delivers an alarm signal. This signal serves as a warning for the need to change the placement of the plate. Oval shaped filters may also be used for other applications.
