Discontinuous screen changer / hydraulic / single-piston - max. 2 500 kg/hr | ESD series

The ESD series is a single-piston, hydraulic discontinuous screen changer. The screens are changed when the machine stops when the screen changers are discontinued. The piston that carries the screen is moved out. The series is developed to the ECON thermo sealer for melts with low viscosity. This type of model provides an air cooling on the pistons. Even with low viscosity materials, the device is free of leakage.

A 65% effective screen area is placed on the device for a higher throughput. The melt channels have a flow optimized design. The material and screens are protected to low pressure build-up.
