The special subject underground cable - the ideal supplement for common cable strippers and processing of overhead wire containing iron or aluminiumThe dismantling machine AWM has been designed especially for the dismantling of underground cables. Unlike common cable strippers, this machine does not strip the cable but wind off the iron coating with two drive wheels. Afterwards, the lead coating and the paper isolation can easily be removed with conventional cable strippers. Furhtermore, the "AWM Annett" tears cable rope from any type of overhead wire containing iron or aluminium. After having precut the wire to 3 to 5 m (depending on type), the feed rolls grab the cable ropes and pull them out of the aluminium coating without residues
