Since the ScrapSaver feeds the ground film scrap of low density volumetrically to the extruder, a consistent flow is obtained. Furthermore, there is a reduced scrap inventory and expenses of labor plus the elimination of extra heat histories of secondary densifying or re-pelletizing operations associated with this.
