The supply of heating or cooling energy is required in many industrial processes. Cold water is used to extract the excess process heat in the consumer. The stability of the cooling water temperature determines the process quality. The use of independent cold water chillers are the only way that constant cold water can be produced due to the varying conditions found within the global environment and on the production site. This is the main application for compact packaged chillers in the low and middle capacity range.
Using recirculating water chillers makes sense when it comes to protecting the environment. Combined with global industrialization, the cooling water consumption is increasing in almost all branches of industry. The need for these systems has increased due to the shortage in water, increased water costs and stronger regulation of waste water.
