This heating and pumping unit can perform a very important function when it comes to fuel oil combustion systems. The pumping unit is often disregarded, but this is a mistake. Too many combustion troubles are caused by a faulty operation of the fuel feeding unit. There are several problems that can appear, such as the fuel temperature and press variations, along with the high temperatures of the healing exchanger surface. This can often cause carbon scalings, while the fuel viscosity is coded as a number, depending on how the liquid is. As an example, the heavy oil is called No. 6 and is not liquid at room temperature conditions. The pump capacity, at the same time, is selected by the manufacturer of the burner, and there are two types of pumping stations, a high pressure and low pressure one. Note that the low pressure stations are used for sleam atomizing burners.
