The CB 1200 by Borel Switzerland is a Crucible furnace which is comes with a fixed crucible furnace that is used for melting or holding the melted state of nonferrous metals. For this specific unit, it has a multilayer insulation having an interior that is made of ceramic fiber and refractory bricks. Also, it uses a thermocouple located outside the crucible and an Axron's PID temperature controller for regulation of the unit.
