Desulphurization system for exhaust gas - max. 1 300 MW
The flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) is a system manufactured by Alstom. Designed with a wide R&D, technology development leadership and versatility, the system has the ability to adapt to a variety of requirements. The FGD functions as an SO2 removal system for coal-fired steam generators. Its features include an available custom design to allow flexibility to different local conditions and a heavy-duty performance that can accommodate plants reaching up to 1,300 MW and burning coals with sulphur reaching up to 6%. Additionally, it is available in a wide variety of materials including high alloy steel, concrete, rubber and flake lined carbon steel.
There is also an available coverage of a wide array of fuel such as coal, pet coke, oil, biomass and MSW.
