The Series 8000 pneumatically-actuated shutoff valves are fitted with CSA- and CE-approved components made of highly-durable and longlasting cast iron, carbon steel and low temperature carbon steel. The body is manufactured from stainless steel and there are internal trim options suitable for use with general purpose or corrosive gases. This device is hazardous location-approved and there are intrinsically safe and non-incendive models available to buy. The ambient temperature range of the Series 8000 valves is between -58 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit (-50 and 60 degrees Celsius), and the gas temperature range is between -58 and 212 degrees Fahrenheit (-50 and 100 degrees C). This device features a heavy closing spring that guarantees safety and continual operation, and is oxygen compatible.
