Sampling valve / liquid - PRA
Azo sampling unit type PRA is useful for filling of outdoor and indoor silos.
During the process of filling of the silo, there exists an overpressure which is pressing a defined quantity into the receiver while the air is being discharged through a filter. A level indicator controls the filling level and gives an indication to the operator when the manual butterfly valve can remove the sample into the sampling hopper. Once the sampling process is complete, the collection hopper can be disconnected using quick clamps, and can be covered.
The covered hopper goes to the laboratory. During filling, all samples are removed from the pipe lines in a similar fashion. Only when the laboratory gives a release, the product within the sample can be used.
In case of any anomalies during sampling, the supply to the production area can be stopped, and the product can be returned back to the supplier.

A sampling unit type PRS utilizes manual, electric and pneumatic turning of a screw and the action removes a specific amount of the passing product which is transported to a transparent collection hopper for safe storage. The corresponding control unit is used to determine whether the sampling is random or has a set definition. When the sampling has concluded the collection hopper can be removed from the device by loosening the quick acting clamps and covering with the lid, and then can be brought to a laboratory if needed.
It is advised that a new and cleaned hopper be fixed to the device to ensure the system is complete and contamination-free.

When using the PRK, you need to stick within the product to do the angular drilling of a piston. This will then be release using a pneumatic swiveling drive or the hand-wheel of the manual drive. It is through this drilling where the flowing product is run into the collection hopper.
Once the sampling of the collection hopper is finished, the sample will be removed and replaced with a cover. It is recommended to add a clean and new hopper at once to keep the system preserved and to minimize contamination. The collected samples will then be tested and removed based on laboratory requirement.

The MV-8 is manufactured with a precision machined seat and a machined body comprised of PTFE. It features a state-of-the-art modified PTFE diaphragm machined in one piece and diaphragm sealing areas, giving the device superior flexibility and extra long life, with more than five times the flexural life of convetional PTFE valves.
The valve includes a low dead volume down leg and a port for full flow through to reduce pressure drops, offering lower replacement costs and providing shorter downtimes.
An optional purge port makes it ideally suited for use in valve manifold boxes and applications in distribution systems, as it allows for maintenance to be acheived downstream of the valve without needing to interrupt the main flow.
