This progressive starter is a pneumatic unit that gets air to move into the circuit over time to keep excess pressure bursts from being a threat. This is made with many internal valves and will let two different stages of operation work. First, air can be regulated in a pin as it flows from the APR. Second, the downstream pressure will reach 40% to 60% of its upstream pressure to make full-port flows ready to work. After that, air flow is cut off as the downstream circuit is relaxed.This starter is made to work in cases where actuators have to be kept from moving too quickly to the point where they may be harder to manage. This is also useful for in-feed needs where air support has to be kept in check. This is useful but be aware that it may be tough to get an exact pressure level to open a valve as required.
