The Masoneilan 49000 series V-log valve has an enlarged, cast globe-style body that features a lower weight and overall dimension, and is capable of handling gas and liquid services in many industries. It is a high pressure drop valve with a stacked disk trim design that offers up to 36 stages of pressure reduction and accommodation of gas expansion.

It offers reduced installation costs and the larger flow gallery supports expanded or reduced inlet and/or outlet body connections for velocity control of expanding gases. V-log design enables use with compressible or incompressible fluids under serious conditions and reduces noise and cavitation.
