Poppet valve / compressor - Magnum™
The magnum valve from Dresser-Rand features a light-weight, strong, advanced element geometry (bullet) design. The unit is made with a high strength thermoplastic, PEEK (PolyEtherEtherKetone), to induce excellent physical and thermal properties, and increase the unit's resistance to dirt, corrosion, liquid swelling, and high impact velocities. The valve is also custom designed with specially formulated materials for specialized services like chlorine. Magnum valve is well designed to operate in almost any condition (low or high speed, pressure or temperature) and provide compatibility with any gas, including hydrogen, air, carbon dioxide, natural gas, ethylene, propane, ammonia, and chlorine. The design also ensures longer life, high performance, affordability and short cycle times from quote to shipment.
