Hard faced seats improve the durability of the valves. The valves feature a spiral wound gasket, which are useful in high pressure pipelines, and are available with a variety of bonnet designs such as bolted, seal weld, no bonnet, or union. Forged from fine grain steel, Flowserve Vogt Check valves feature threaded, socket weld, or flanged ends.
The amount of back pressure and the viscosity of the flowing medium determine the leakage rate for Vogt check valves with metal-to-metal seats.
