Excess-flow valve - max. 17.2 bar | F series
F Series excess flow valves are used to close excessive discharge of vapor or liquid resulting from breakage in hose or piping systems. The series comes in various sizes and body configurations and offer protection to cylinder, tank, and piping systems. The valve closes when flow exceeds the valves setting and remains closed until the system attains equalization. The valve opens automatically through a built-in equalizing passage when pressure on both sides of the poppet is the same.Valves with or below 1/2-inch threaded NPT feature limited bypass to comply with NFPA 58. Valves greater than 1/2-inch threaded NPT feature a number 60 size drill.
