GE's Masoneilan butterfly control valves are useful for economically controlling low pressure throttling applications requiring tight shut-off. Combining the characteristics of an elastomeric lined valve with moderate throttling control accuracy, the valves include a resilient seat and high capacity functionality. Designed for low torque applications, the valves reduce installation costs by requiring a smaller actuator size and thus resulting in a smaller, lighter valve package. The smaller actuator size also results in better control and reduced process variability by improving throttling responsiveness.
