The Becker Emergency Shutdown Valve (ESDV) gives protection to employees, the environment, and equipment used in instances of dangerous system upsets. Designed by GE Oil & Gas, the fast acting and fire safe device is a key component to ensuring safety and maintaining reliable operation within natural gas transmission and distribution systems. The rugged design also includes custom configurations and is certified to Safety Integrity Level (SIL) per IEC 61508. It has automatic and manual release options and can do local and remote partial stroke tests.
