Ball valve / PFA-lined - class 150 - 300 | Durco T4E
A thick, continuous PFA liner is included with this product. It is attached to the body with T-slots. All wetted body parts are encased in PFA so that high-alloy materials do not have to be used for the body. The plug is also surrounded by PFA and this material extends up the stem and through the cap's top. Tight shut-off is provided by the valve's extensive sealing surfaces. These bidirectional valves are completely line-pressure independent. The liner has a seal band at the top and the primary seal comes between it and the plug.
Steam leakages are prevented by a secondary PFA diaphragm seal should the line pressure force liquid to the stem seal area. Should leaks occur, users can easily replace the plug.
