Ball valve / control - Valbart
The Trunnion-Mounted Control Ball Valve (TMCBV) is designed by Valbart. It operates at high pressures and minimizes the torque required for operation. The seats are energized with a spring-loaded process, which allows for tight shutoff (Class V and Class IV) at any pressure. In many cases, the capacity of the TMCBV is superior to that of a comparable globe valve. For this reason, customers are able to receive savings by using this lighter, more compact valve. It requires a less expensive and smaller actuator as well as pipe supports.
