The VD, VLD is a heavy duty process pump that is available in wet pipe configurations or in double casing. It can be two stages or vertical single double volute / diffuser type the pump components geometry, optimized through hydraulic thermal, structural and dynamic F.E.M dynamic analysis is done on all pumps also factoring in the correct site operating conditions. Deep stuffing boxes made specific to API 682 std will accept all types of packing and mechanical seals. Deflectors and Labyrinth at either housing or bearing increases the protection against dirt. The front and rear rings along with the balancing holes reduces the axial thrust.
