Submersible pump / vertical / axial-flow - Lewis® series
Lewis Pumps LH axial pumps are low head high flow axial flow pumps. These pumps are available as cast versions in sizes up to 900 mm (36") and in welded version in sizes larger than 900 mm. The cast versions are made out of the Lewis Pumps LEWMET alloys.They come with separate elbows and casings and that greatly simplifies the alignment. Also, they have a replacable casing wear liner. The bearing frame is precisely line bored and comes with a ribbed fit to provide centering of the shaft. The shaft is cantilevered and has no bearings in the process stream.
These pumps can use V-belt or they can be set up with in line drive. The propeller comes with each pump and its flow can be set in both ways. The sealing can be carried out through a single inside, double or tapered cartridge seal.
