Grundfos DDI pumps have innovative Digital Dosing technology in which a stepper motor/EC drive controls the stroke speed thus giving extremely precise results. The operator only has to enter the dosing rate in liters / hr. Everything else is taken care of by the pump. The system's power-packed microelectronics and radical speed-regulated drive give accurate and consistent dosing, perfect mixing of materials and optimum performance.

The digital dosing rate is 75 ml/h to 150 l/h. Each pressure stroke varies in duration depending on the flow rate. The suction strokes have constant durations. In case of specific requirements, the anti-cavitation function allows the suction strokes to be set for longer durations. Thus, suction can be performed with maximum stroke capacity. The cumulative result is that there is very low vibration in the dosing system even while dosing is constantly taking place. This is very important for the easy pumping of outgassing media.
