Multi-passage rotary union - Rotostat N
GAT's Rotostat N series are axial clearance seals which are controlled hydrostatically. They contain a complex, inverse hydrostatic gap regulator guarantees even under high pressures, the gap between stationary and rotating machinery parts is maintained at a few microns, thus the spillage is very small. The series is susceptible to the alterations of the temperature and the surges of pressure because its layout is complied to handle stress. It is recommended to rough applications like pusher centrifuges, coilers in mills, propeller adjustment in ships, and blade adjustment in water turbines. Meanwhile, the series is available as a cartridge for installation in customers’ own constructions.
